Djunijanti Peggie, M.Sc., Ph.D. is a researcher at Entomology Lab., Division of Zoology, Research Center for Biology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences, working on butterfly collections of Museum Zoologicum Bogoriense. She graduated from Fakultas Biologi, Universitas Nasional, Jakarta in 1988. She gained her Master of Science degree from Imperial College, University of London, U.K. in 1992; and achieved her Doctor of Philosophy degree from Entomology Department, Cornell University, U.S.A. in 2002.
Having expertise on the systematics of butterflies, it is one of her goals to provide affordable and practical guide books to the butterflies of Indonesia.
She is currently preparing other guide books in this series.

Djunijanti Peggie, M.Sc., Ph.D. adalah staf peneliti di Lab. Entomologi, Bidang Zoologi, Puslit Biologi, LIPI, menangani koleksi kupu-kupu Museum Zoologi Bogor. Ia lulus dari Fakultas Biologi, Universitas Nasional, Jakarta pada tahun 1988. Ia memperoleh gelar Master of Science dari Imperial College, University of London, Inggris, pada tahun 1992; dan memperoleh gelar Doctor of Philosophy dari Entomology Department, Cornell University, Amerika Serikat, pada tahun 2002.
Telah menjadi angan-angan dan tujuannya sebagai ahli sistematika kupu-kupu untuk dapat menyediakan buku panduan praktis dan terjangkau mengenai kupu-kupu Indonesia. Saat ini ia sedang mempersiapkan beberapa buku panduan lainnya dalam rangkaian ini.
